Bachal Shah's journey is truly remarkable, showcasing resilience and determination in the face of adversity. Despite being born with a disability, he chose to live life with dignity and independence. "Meray liye ye aik aizaz ke baat hay k main nay zindagi ko aam insaan ki tarah guzari" (It’s an honor for me that I lived my life like an ordinary person), he reflects, underscoring his commitment to self-reliance.

Bachal learned sewing in 1995 and since then has been mastering the craft. Bachal opened up a mobile repair shop in liyari to earn a stable income for his family. However, the tumultuous times of Liyari in 2012 led to a robbery incident at his shop putting him under a debt of Rs. 2 Lacs.

Thus, Bachal Bhai found solace in sewing and tailoring, eventually securing a fulfilling role of Lead Tailor at Shamil. At Shamil, his innovative thinking and dedication significantly contributed to the production process. "Tote bag main 3 silaiyaan theen, 10 12 say zyada puray din main nahi bn patay thay. Main nay bataya k islo alag tareeqay say, tetra pack ke tarah banayen. Bag same rha, kaam adha hogya aur production 10 say 100 per agaee" (There were three stitches in the tote bag initially, thus no more than 10 to 12 tote bags could be made daily. I proposed making the tote bag like a tetra pack. This reduced the workload to half, increasing production from 10 to 100). While Bachal's wife provided unwavering support, he dreamt for their children's future. "Main bus ye chahta hun k zindagi main beta kuch ker jaye. Main us k liye itna kar jaun k usko koi problem na ho. Betay ko dekhun to aisa na lagay k becharay k liye kuch nahi kiya" (I just want my son to achieve something in life. I want to do enough for him so that he doesn't face any problems. When I look at my son, I don't want it to seem like I haven't done anything for him).

Bachal's dedication to Shamil was unwavering, as he expressed, "Shamil is my future." His aspirations were not just for himself but for his family and the community. Through his perseverance and innovative spirit, he continues to inspire others to overcome obstacles and pursue their dreams.
